Your provincial health plan covers telehealth services the same way it would cover a doctor’s visit. The only cost to the patient is the cost of the medicinal cannabis. We have partnered with Medical Cannabis by Shoppers who offer various value add programs including compassionate pricing, senior discounts and works with Veteran Affairs Canada (VAC) helping Veterans.
Please be prepared with a piece of photo ID, your health care card, and any supporting medical documentation. You should have already completed the Patient Intake and Patient Consent forms sent to your email and if by chance you haven’t or have any questions our Office Assistant will help with completion prior to consulting with a physician.
More and more insurance companies are covering medical cannabis under their plans. We recommend contacted your provider to see if they cover your medicine. Additionally, many patients use HSA’s (health spending accounts) to cover the cost of their medical cannabis.
